Our aim at London Thunder WBC is to continue the Legacy following the amazing effect London 2012 had on Disability Sport. Our club prides itself on being inclusive and is one of very few clubs where the wheelchair and running sections run side by side.
We currently run 2 wheelchair teams in the British Wheelchair Basketball National League. Our Junior Under15 team made their debut last season and enjoyed great success. They were close to making the finals except for losing their final game in double overtime.
Our senior team has made huge progress in the 4 years it has been playing, moving up a division each season. This year finishing as Silver medalists in the Division one National Championship.
At our amazing home venue The Thunderdome, we are able to train frequently with National Qualified Coaches leading all the sessions. We also regularly host junior camps.
Our head wheelchair coach is Stephen Sadler who is highly experienced and has regularly represented Great Britain.
We are always on the lookout for new players, so please do contact us for further information: email@example.com
